ALAN BUTTERWORTH.born 25th february1943 died friday 13th june 1997.aged 54 years old.worked as a security guard..he lived in eccles our dad had 6 children,craig michaela,gaynor ,tracy,steven and alan he is also a grandad to 10 louise mark liam,anthony ,elizabeth ,sarah, jessica, callum , leighton and luke .also dear father in law to helen robert and john.our dad died of a massive heart attack.we got a phone call from police to tell us they think they had our dad we had to go and identify him on saturday morning.our dad died whilst workin a night duty and his colleagues found him early in the morning out on the yard floor we will never forget that phone call ,it was to be fathers day on the sunday.our dad loved fishing he used to do this on his days off.i remember when we were young our dad used to have racing pigeons .i love my dad to pieces and everyone who knew him felt the same.he was a great man who got on with everyone. OUR FATHER WAS A WONDERFUL MAN AND LOVED BY ALL WHO KNEW HIM

hello dad just talking to kila and she was saying i not been on for a year made me feel awful,well dad remember the talk me and you had 15 years ago when you said do me a favour cock if you ever get married let me walk you down the aisle, well dad its next saturday as you know i will be on your son craigs arm but im just praying i feel you on my other side as i walk down the aisle as i need you there with me as you know i got a big picture of you done so you are at the front of the church for me but im hoping you are stood by my side when i say my vows and i make you proud dad,i just wish i could have you here for that day i would do anything for me to be on your arm i know i would but its not meant to be but if you can dad be by my side love you always see you next saturday love you xxxxxxxx

I'd like to thank you all so much for the support we recieved for Kyra's birthday on 1st April, it was beautiful to see all the candles, tributes, pictures and gifts. It means so much to myself and Alan and you all have been a great help since I have joined GTS. Life without Kyra is just heartbreaking as all my friends are well aware as you's are going through the same grief, it is a big comfort to have all your support and friendship.
